More Information. What exactly is Human Growth Hormone?

Human Growth Hormone is produced in the pituitary gland of humans, and the hormone is secreted throughout a person's lifetime. It promotes growth in children and plays an important role in adult metabolism.

It was first isolated in 1956 and its structure was identified in 1972. Until the mid-1980's the only source of hGH was from pituitary glands collected post mortem. Today human Growth Hormone is available in larger quantities through the technique of genetic engineering and, consequently, a number of conditions apart from the classical growth hormone insufficiency can be treated.

Growth Hormoneinsufficiency is a condition caused by a deficiency of natural human growth hormone. Without treatment, e.g. boys typically reach a height of 130 cm at the age of 18, compared with a normal height of 162 cm. If treatment with human growth hormone is initiated at an early stage, a final height close to normal can be obtained.

Human Growth Hormone is one of several endocrine hormones, like estrogen, progesterone, testosterone and DHEA, that decline in production as we age. While many of these hormones can be replaced to deter some of the effects of aging, human Growth Hormone goes far beyond the effect of any one of these hormones to not only retard biological aging, but also to significantly reverse many of the effects of aging.

The decline of Growth Hormone with age is directly associated with many of the symptoms of aging, including cardiovascular disease, increased body fat, osteoperosis, wrinkling, gray hair, decreased energy, reduced sexual function, and other symptoms. Many of these symptoms have been found in younger adults who have human growth hormone deficiency.

Production of Growth Hormone falls 80% from age 21 to 61. Daily human growth hormone secretion diminish with age to the extent that a 60 year old may secrete only 25% of the Human Growth Hormonesecreted by a 20 year old. Symptoms include loss of muscle and an increase of fat, decreased energy; diminished healing ability; greater risk of cardiovascular disease and lower life expectancy.

Scientists across the world have been doing research on what it is that cause us to age. After age 21 the amount of Human Growth Hormone falls about 14% per decade. By the age of sixty it is reduced by half.

Now, thanks to a scientific formula that simulates Human Growth Hormone, we can provide our bodies with this essential supplement and regain our youthful vitality.
